Sign on to support renter protections in Cudahy!

Cudahy is a majority-renter community with 85% of our residents being tenants, but our city has no renter protections besides what the state provides. I’m fighting to change that and elevate the needs of one of our most vulnerable communities: our renters. Join us!

What's already happened?

At the August 2019 Cudahy City Council Meeting, the council heard a presentation from our city attorney on rent stabilization and what that could look like in the city of Cudahy. The presentation also included example of renter protections that have been passed in cities across LA County such as just cause eviction ordinances, relocation assistance for tenants, rent caps, etc.

In September of 2019, I joined L.A. County Supervisors Hilda L. Solis and Sheila Kuehl, Culver City Mayor Megan Sahli-Wells, and Inglewood Mayor James Butts to call on LA County cities to review and pass rent stabilization and just cause eviction protections.

As a Cudahy renter and community member, what do you envision?
