What's already happened?

At the August 2019 Cudahy City Council Meeting, the council heard a presentation from our city attorney on rent stabilization and what that could look like in the city of Cudahy. The presentation also included example of renter protections that have been passed in cities across LA County such as just cause eviction ordinances, relocation assistance for tenants, rent caps, etc.

In September of 2019, I joined L.A. County Supervisors Hilda L. Solis and Sheila Kuehl, Culver City Mayor Megan Sahli-Wells, and Inglewood Mayor James Butts to call on LA County cities to review and pass rent stabilization and just cause eviction protections.
