Cudahy recently passed a freeze on rent increases from October 20 through April 17. If you have received a rent increase notification that would take effect during this time period, it is illegal. The city has prepared a letter and notice to all landlords that you can also provide your landlord as proof that you do not need to pay the increased amount, however you do need to still pay rent.
